Lamaze International Conference
October 21, 2016
After an animated pre-session roundtable, I presented a psychological perspective at two sessions at the annual Lamaze International Conference in West Palm Beach on Friday, October 21, Facilitate Growth with Play: Explore How Development, Temperament and Bonding Influence Play
Play is an important part of a baby’s development, and ensuring that parents know this is essential. In this session, Dr. Tower explores strategies for teaching parents how to enhance their baby’s early development through play. Learn about the dimensions of both parent and baby temperament, and discover the relationship between temperament, parent-child bonding, and play. This session features tangible examples using Lamaze’s Infant Development Toys by TOMY. Transcripts in audio and DVD format for my sessions, AL1605, are available from Lamaze here.
